UAE welcomes formation of new govt in Yemen, implementation of Riyadh pact

Abu Dhabi, Dec 20: The UAE has welcomed the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement between the legitimate Yemeni government and the Southern Transitional Council. It further welcomed the formation of a government of political competencies in Yemen, and expressed its hope that this will be a step toward a political solution and an accelerated end to the Yemeni crisis.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation commended the pivotal role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in implementing the Riyadh Agreement, and its support for all actions that serve the interest of the Yemeni people and contribute to their stability and security.
4 dead, 2 injured in West Delhi factory roof collapse

New Delhi, Dec 19: Four people died and two were injured in a factory roof collapse on Saturday morning in West Delhi s Khyala Village. The incident happened at around 10 a.m. in Vishnu garden of Khyala in a factory of motor winding where at least six people were inside. The injured were rescued by the police staff, ambulance staff, DDMA staff and were sent to the nearest hospital. Out of six, four were declared dead by the doctors while two were out of danger, said Additional DCP West Delhi Subodh Kumar Goswami.

UP factory makes spices with donkey dung and acid; owner linked to organisation founded by Yogi Adityanath

In news that may well make you gag, an Uttar Pradesh based factory has been using donkey dung, acid and hay along with counterfeit spices to create products for local brands. The police in UP s Hathras raided the factory on Monday night, arresting factory owner Anoop Varshney and sending several samples of the adulterated products for testing.
According to a Times of India report, Varshney is the âMandal Sah Prabhariâ of the Hindu Yuva Vahini. The report quotes officials to add that over 300 kg of fake spices had been seized in the late night raid. The problematic ingredients include donkey dung, hay and inedible colours. Officials had also found drums full of acid. The final list of products includes coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric and garam masala.

Hathras (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 16 (IANS): The Hathras police have unearthed a manufacturing unit making spurious and counterfeit spices of local brands using donkey dung and acid.
The factory is located in the Navipur area and the police raided it on a tip-off.
The unit owner, Anoop Varshney, who is also the office-bearer of the Hindu Yuva Vahini, has been arrested.
Joint magistrate Prem Prakash Meena said, We have seized over 300 kg of fake spices being packed in names of some local brands.
He added that during the raid, several spurious ingredients used to prepare the fake spices were found, including donkey dung, hay (bhusa), inedible colours and drums full of acids.
