PALMER â Earlier this month at a regular meeting of the Mat-Su Borough School Board on Dec. 2, former Mat-Su School Board member Kelsey Trimmer was honored for his five years of service on the school board.
âThank you Kelsey for all the years of service that you put in and all the hard work,â said School Board President Ole Larson.
Trimmer was presented with a gift by MSBSD Superintendent Dr. Randy Trani and Larson as he attended the school board meeting as a member of the public. Trimmer was selected in 2015 to fill a seat that was vacated in January of that year and began serving on April 1. Trimmer decided not to run for reelection and his seat was won by Dwight Probasco, a longtime Wasilla High School administrator. Trimmer was thanked for his time serving the students of the Valley.
