Carroll And Seawright Take Third Bama Brawl Winnings Monday, February 22, 2021 - by Steve Hixson The 3rd Annual Eddie Davis Memorial Bama Brawl weekend took place Friday-Sunday as over 150 race teams converged upon the 3/8 s mile dirt track in Northeast Alabama for over $100,000 in posted prize money. Super Late Models highlighted the weekend with a 50 lapper, paying $4,500 to-Win Sunday. Attrition was key and in the end Hot Rod Carroll of Anniston picked up the biggest win of his career after nearly the entire field dropped out. Carroll s teammate DJ Hayes finished second. The United Championship Racing Alliance presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil kicked off its 2021 season much like it did in 2020. Local racer Sam Seawright beat out the competition for the $3,000 prize Sunday afternoon, for his second consecutive Bama Brawl title. Fort Payne s Bama Brawl Event Now 3 Days Due To Forecast Tuesday, February 16, 2021 - by Steve Hixson Thursday was supposed to kickoff the 3rd Annual Eddie Davis Memorial Bama Brawl at Fort Payne Motor Speedway, but forecasts are not good. Officials have decided to cancel the practice day, which cuts the event now to a 3-day weekend. Friday gates will open at 10 a.m. CST with a full day of on track practice to follow. Saturday prelims will be the mainstay with the United Championship Racing Alliance Red Line Race of Champions for invitees of the series wrapping up the first day of competition.
