Search the Landfill day of action is planned for Monday, Sept. 18 with events being held in Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Vancouver, Prince George and North Battleford.
Hundreds gathered outside the Vancouver Art Gallery Wednesday to call on the Manitoba government to search a landfill outside of Winnipeg, where two bodies have previously been discovered and where the bodies of two others are believed to be. Annita McPhee from the Tahltan Nation is one of the event's organizers.
