A portrait of persistence. For this exhibition, i worked 3. 5 years researching, finding all the objects and teach myself this history. For this exhibition we have , about 124 objects, of which there are 63 portraits. In curating the exhibition i was , hoping to commemorate the 19th amendment and tell the history of the 19th amendment and how women lobbied to get this amendment passed and ratified. But also ask questions about it. And ask, what does that do and what does that not do . And why 1965, the Voting Rights act is considered a mother a , part two of the 19th amendment.
