ARTISTS are back at the Craven Arts Hub, exhibiting their work at the dedicated Craven Arts Hub, in Skipton. The work of Bev Parker, landscape and agrarian artist; Joan Newall, artist and bookmaker; Anna Hewlett, landscape and floral artist; and Rebecca Carr, artist and illustrator, was due to form an exhibition in the autumn, but had to be abandoned after just a few days because of the coronavirus lockdown. Bev Parker, of Cum-bye arts, is inspired by the upland environment and landscapes and also likes to paint native breeds of sheep and other farm animals. Rebecca Carr says her art is like ‘open sketchbook pages, personal moments of contented connection between artist and canvas’
