Both districts have been singled out for Musical Theatre Awards. For Spencer: Grace Katzen has been named an outstanding playwright for her original work called “Upstaged by a Pandemic”; and Mackenna Pierce was named an outstanding performer in “Children of Eden”. Bri Holtand and Jadey Salton honored for costuming, Mackenna Richter for choreography, and Charlie Steele for Scenic and Technical design. In addition scenes from both plays were singled out as among the best statewide. ....
