Sault High Drama taking to the stage this weekend The Sault News SAULT STE. MARIE After two years, Sault Area High School students are performing the 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee play this weekend for all to view. The Spelling Bee is a musical comedy with music and lyrics which centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six adolescents compete in the Bee, run by three grown-ups. “Literally anyone can identify with the situations each contestant finds themself in,” said Tracy Menard, who has been working at the Sault Schools since 1999. “It s a funny yet touching insight into the adolescent word of words, stress, competition and self confidence.
