Urbandale Police Responded to a drug complaint at the holiday inn off merle hay road. When they got there three suspects were in the lobby. Their conversations did not last long before they ended up in sa struggle with one of the subjects who ended up pulling a gun. One shot was fired by him and our officers returned fire. Rose the man died from his injuries. Two women left the area, but are now in custody. I think our people and the staff at the hotel last night did an amazing job. Rose the busy crime scene came as a surprise to this hotel guest, who asked us not to use his name. I asked the cop what had happened and he said somebody was shot.
