Their conversations did not last long before they ended up in sa struggle with one of the subjects who ended up pulling a gun. One shot was fired by him and our officers returned fire. Rose the man died from his injuries. Two women left the area, but are now in custody. I think our people and the staff at the hotel last night did an amazing job. Rose the busy crime scene came as a surprise to this hotel guest, who asked us not to use his name. I asked the cop what had happened and he said somebody was shot. I guess its kind of weird not knowing it until i got up. Rose officers say there will be a long, extensive investigation. Video evidence in the case against a former Des Moines Roosevelt High School Girls Basketball coach could be thrown out. Gerald tig johnson is accused of having inappropriate contact with a student. Des Moines Police tell us Video Evidence from the School District was corrupted. Johnsons attorney filed a motion to have the evidence thrown out because johnson cannot get a fair trial.
