Initial Slate for Election – 2022 The Nominating Committee has submitted its initial slate for the 2022 Governing Board elections. The Nominating Committee consists of John Papadopoulos (Chair), Deborah Arnold, Thomas Carpenter, Eric Cline, Julie Herzig Desnick, and J. Theodore Peña. AIA members are encouraged to submit additional names for consideration before September 1, 2021. Please send suggestions to John Papadopoulos at jkp@humnet.ucla.edu and Samantha Austin at saustin@archaeological.org. With your nomination, please provide the nominee’s email address and a few sentences explaining why you think that person might be a good AIA Governing Board member. The Nominating Committee will consider all suggestions, but their role is to vet and select the requisite candidates for the ballot.
