The report by Dr T Ndurugu that was released to the family yesterday further indicated that Ann Njeri drowned.
The injuries on her hands, head and back indicate that there was a struggle before death, read part of the report. 
The body of the deceased was found in an underground water tank by a relative before the boyfriend was arrested and later released by police in unclear matters.

Mystery surrounds the death of a 34-year-old woman whose body was found in an underground water tank in Mai Mahiu, Naivasha.
The body of Ann Njeri was found by her brother-in-law James Ngugi who informed the police.
Her relatives claim she was murdered by someone close to her.
“We believe that Njeri was murdered and the body dumped in the tank and all we are asking for is justice and the arrest of the killer,” said the relative, adding that they found the deceased shoes next to the tank. ....

Fish prices in Lake Naivasha have dropped by over 50 per cent in the last two weeks due to the recently introduced lockdown and curfew regulations.
Despite an increase in production, demand has dipped sharply after hotels closed down following the containment measures introduced by the State
As a result, fish worth thousands of shillings is going to waste in several landing beaches around the water body forcing some traders and fishermen to close business.
The tens of traders around the water body now want the county government to waive the annual fees that they pay and the national government to come up with a rescue package. ....
