Jakarta’s opening of Taco Bell – the world-renowned Mexican-inspired quick service restaurant (QSR) – will also mark the restaurant’s first flagship location in the Asia-Pacific region.
Ankush Tuli, Taco Bell Asia-Pacific managing director, said in a statement that the company was excited to work with Indonesia’s PT Fast Food Indonesia as its franchise partner, with the latter having a reputation as a strong operator with its Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Indonesia business, a sister brand of Taco Bell.
