New Brunswick RCMP continue to advise the public in the Centennial Park area of Moncton to shelter in place as police investigate a report of shots fi.

An investigation continues into an incident that sent schools into lockdown, and left many residents on edge.
RCMP Officers responded at 8:30am on Thursday to reports of a vehicle struck by bullets near Millenium Boulevard and Killam Drive.
Police say it appeared the shots came from the woods in Centennial Park.
An Alert Ready message was sent out, as police searched a large area in and around the park.
RCMP remained in the park throughout the evening as they continued their search for evidence.
Patrol helicopters and search dogs searched the area throughout the day.
