The 50-year-old man who died during a standoff with law enforcement in Winsted, Minnesota, on Monday shot himself in the head, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says.
According to the release, the incident occurred as the officers were attempting to serve a 50-year-old man with a warrant for possession of child pornography.
Investigators revealed Friday that a suspect who shot at two McLeod County deputies on Monday and barricaded himself in his home for hours died after he shot himself in the head.
