Was wearing the same flipflops he had on yesterday when he had to walk down the ladder to safety. I was so thankful. I said thank america. The job you do is wonderful. I say thank america. I was so happy. Samuel told us they were able to throw his wifes suitcases off the balcony before they escaped and she made it to her flight this morning. We talked to the firefighters who rescued them at the same time were on the first ladder truck to arrive. They spotted the kates shouting for help on the balcony. Rhodes went up the ladder first. She was telling me she had both hips replaced that she was having trouble getting up so i picked her up onto the ladder and she told us she couldnt do much. So i ended up carrying her down a few rungs of the top of the ladder. We trained together. And, we try too keep calm and we got the job done. Was this your first rescue. It was.
