The celebrations may again be small and largely at home this year, but many people still crave Mexican-style food to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. At least that’s what the large number of customers at local restaurants on May 5 every year have been indicating to staffers. “I think last year, (Cinco de Mayo) was our busiest day of the year,” says Chris Tucker, owner of Burrito Bistro restaurants in Hyannis and Mashpee. “I expect it’s going to be no different this year.” “We’re slammed on Cinco de Mayo,” says Lavon Trottier, manager at Two Brothers Pizza and Mexican in Sandwich. “The cars are lined up down to the other store” in the Cotuit Road plaza. ....
