The proposed legislation would not require a motorist to change lanes if there is a designated bike lane. The bill passed the senate yesterday and is now headed over to the house for debate. Lawmakers are also working on an amendment to the iowa constitution relating to Electronic Communications and data. The joint resolution would make it necessary for Law Enforcement to get a warrant to access that electronic information, from items like a computer or cell phone. Out a des moines hospital last night. And walked right into the polk county jail. We learned late last night that Barney Fraaken had finally been booked into jail and charged with two counts of first degree murder. Fraaken allegedly shot and killed his wife, amy, and the couples 16year old daughter, amber, at their des moines home last november. He then turned the gun on himself. But he survived that gunshot wound to the head. Hes been recovering at a des moines hospital since. Last night he was finally released from the hospital and into police custody. He is being held on a two million bond. A retired iowa state trooper has been given probation and a suspended two Year Prison Sentence for possessing child pornography. 67yearold david hubbard, of garner was sentenced tuesday in a garner courtroom. At the hearing hubbard said, what i did was inexcusable. photographs and one video, each involving a minor, in november 2013. He eventually pleaded guilty to one count of Sexual Exploitation

During balloon days. matt but theres one exhibit honoring fallen soliders that might be unlike any youve seen before. The e emembering our fallele exhibit serves as a stark reminder of soliders duties. It features more than 90 fallen nebraska soliders depicted in personal and military photos. There are similar exhibits in 14 states. This exhibit is housed at the little red hen theatre for the weekend. And while shes watched a video that plays at the exhibit a few times now, it gets the theatres manager choked up talking about it.
