I m just asking, please help us out, Clemson senior and downtown bartender Hannah Rogerson asked of Clemson City Council Monday night.
After several pleas from business owners, hospitality workers, and Clemson students, council agreed to meet at noon Friday, March 5 to discuss relaxing certain rules around masks in bars and restaurants. The meeting comes following a public outcry that the rules were hurting local businesses. 
It s not fair to wait two weeks, Mayor Robert Halfacre said after over an hour of debate and public input about the issue Monday night. 
Council will look at whether or not to allow bar and restaurant patrons to be unmasked when actively eating or drinking, a major sticking point for hospitality workers, who said the rule killed business in the downtown entertainment district.  ....
