SALT LAKE CITY One man was stabbed multiple times and two people were taken into custody Saturday afternoon in Salt Lake City, police say. The stabbing occurred in the Smith s parking lot at 828 S. 900 West around 2:15 p.m., Salt Lake Police Lt. Andrew Cluff said. First responders were able to find the 45-year-old male victim, who was in critical, unstable condition, and transport him to the hospital where he underwent surgery. His condition has since stabilized. Police found the suspects, a male and female, both 38, across the street at a 7-Eleven and took them into custody. The cause of the altercation was not immediately known; an investigation into the incident is underway. ....
