Reporter neighbors on jennings avenue watched as police converged on a house or a 55yearold man was found dead at midday. He has injuries on his body consistent with a knife wound. Well. As you mentioned, a lot of cars and trailers and rvs, a bunch of sheds and things like that. Its easy to see how i fire of this nature could spread very quickly. The smoke went up about 1000 feet in the air and then tapered off into south san jose. The plumes could be seen from all over san jose. We started hearing the sirens, and we were praying and when we came out of prayers, there was smoke all around. It looked like a junkyard. A lot of the firefighters jumping in and helping out.
