By the end of August, FlyWestair will be taking off twice a week to Rundu and three times a week to Katima Mulilo from their hub at Eros Airport in Windhoek. The Rundu flights will commence on 24 August while the Katima route will be added a day later.
“These destinations are integral hubs for so many of our nation’s north-eastern denizens. FlyWestair would like to continue our pledge to support and connect Namibians. Katima Mulilo, the capital of the Zambezi region, is an important gateway to other SADC nations, notably Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana,” read a statement from the privately owned Namibian airline.

WINDHOEK, April 21 (Xinhua) Namibian private airline FlyWestair on Wednesday announced one additional scheduled flight per week between Windhoek s Eros Airport and Ondangwa s Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo Airport starting April 28.
This will connect the north of Namibia to the capital of Windhoek and beyond with a flight every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, the airline said in a statement.
In addition, FlyWestair will offer scheduled flights from Windhoek s Hosea Kutako International Airport to Cape Town s International Airport weekly Friday and Monday. Our airline remains focused on assisting the travel and aviation industry recover in a post-COVID-19 environment, FlyWestair said.
