Anderson Motor Company of Marietta, Georgia, was a longtime Chevrolet and Oldsmobile dealership located in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. While not as well known as Yenko, Nickey, Berger, Baldwin, or Dana, Anderson Motor Company was seriously into high performance and catered to customers needs by delivering a limited number of cars with Chevrolet s mighty 427 transplanted beneath their hoods.
In 1969, Anderson Chevrolet s sales campaign boldly proclaimed, More Motion for Your Money, which was a less than subtle play on words poking fun at the considerably more famous big-block transplant program taking place on Long Island, New York, between partners Baldwin Chevrolet and Joel Rosen s Motion Performance. ....
