Anchorage bakery Fire Island plans to relocate to a different downtown location, opening an indoor market with other local businesses

A former medical building at 718 K Street, photographed on Friday, May 14, 2021, will become the new downtown home for Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop after months-long renovations are complete. Fire Island will own the building and lease space to La Bodega, That Feeling Co, Johnny s Produce, and Progressive Physical Therapy. (Loren Holmes / ADN)
