Ron Burke joined KOAT-7 in January of 2021 as a news anchor and sports director.
He comes to the Land of Enchantment from our sister station WPBF 25 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Before that he spent much of his career in Philadelphia, PA as an award-winning sports anchor, host and reporter, he made the transition to news in 2018.
Ron has reported on news stories ranging from education, tourism, agriculture and hurricanes to political campaigns. He also kept his hand in sports by reporting from Major League Baseball camps and putting together features on local athletes.
Ron joined Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia in 1997 as anchor of the morning show, SportsRise. After spending a year with NBATV, he rejoined CSN in 2002, and remained with the network until 2017. ....
