Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Roopa Ganguly on Monday alleged that the Trinamool Congress-led West Bengal State government is not ready for discussions on Birbhum violence in the state assembly.
Roopa Ganguly of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said on Monday that the Trinamool Congress-led West Bengal State administration is not ready for debates on the Birbhum violence in the state legislature.
Following a clash between TMC and BJP MLAs on the floor of the House over Birbhum violence, the Speaker suspended 5 BJP MLAs, including Suvendu Adhikari, from the Assembly, until further notice.
Suvendu Adhikari said that the opposition had demanded a discussion over law and order but the government declined. Alleging that the opposition brought Kolkata police personnel in civil dress to clash with 8-10 BJP MLAs.
Five Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs including the Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari were suspended from the West Bengal Assembly on Monday following a clash with TMC MLAs on the floor of the House over Birbhum violence.
