Kota Kinabalu: It is estimated that up to 5.6 million school-going children in Malaysia face the double burden of malnutrition. The double burden of malnutrition is defined as the coexistence of both undernutrition and overnutrition in the same population across the life course. In short, malnourished children run the risk of becoming obese adults.
