let s go. patrick: this video is from a passenger on that american airlines flight. he kept the camera rolling as he went down the emergency chute. flight 3-83 was on its way to miami when the plane aborted its takeoff because of an engine-related issue. there s a report tonight that the plane experienced uncontained engine failure. that is when engine parts break off and are spewed outside the engine. chicago s deputy fire commissioner says the incident could have been devastating if it happened after takeoff. 170 people were on board. they all made it off. authorities say 20 passengers have minor injuries, hurt while using the emergency slides. we started to take off. we didn t get in the air, and the right side engine blew, big ball of fire. everyone was so professional. the pilot stop the plane perfect , and we started exiting. it was kind of a coordinated chaos. it was unbelievable how we got out of that plane. patrick: investigators are looking into what happened. div
