The ‘abstract’ - a big picture overview of what we did:
Over our first semester at Olin, in an entrepreneurial spirit we learned and redeveloped Corewars: a 30 year-old computational-thinking game. Corewars was fascinating because of its potential to be used as a powerful logical programming framework. The way players could use simple assembly commands to execute code visually and manipulate data held much promise for complex logical problem-solving both in a competitive or collaborative nature.
