A campaign will be launched for screening and testing of TB, HIV, hepatitis B and C and syphilis in the prisons across state, said National Health Mission, Uttar Pradesh’s Additional Mission Director Dr Heera Lal
The health department in the state capital will conduct a special immunisation drive in three phases to cover children and pregnant women who missed any vaccine doses. The drive, called Mission Indradhanush 5.0, aims to ensure that no dose is missed and will include house surveys and uploading of details on the E-kavach portal. Field visits will be coordinated by hospital superintendents.
