Breaking News | Breaking News Ex-Military Administrator, Isa Kontagora is dead

Colonel Aminu Isah Kontagora, a one-time Military Administrator of Benue and Kogi states, is dead.
According to a close family member of the former military administrator who announced the passing, Kontagora died of COVID-19 related complications at the age of 65.
He was the Administrator of Kano State from September 1998 to May 1999, under the transitional regime of General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
He handed over power to the then elected executive governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on 29 May 1999.
In reaction, the Niger state government described Kontagora as a respected officer who spent his life in the service of the State, country, and humanity saying his death was a great tragedy and a monumental loss to the Niger State at this very critical period of our history. ....

A frontline member of the Niger State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Col. Aminu Isah Kontagora (rtd.) has died of COVID-19 complications.
Col Kontagora died at the age of 65 in the early hours of Monday, January 11, 2021, at a health facility in Abuja.
The deceased, a former governorship aspirant on the platform of the PDP during the 2015 general polls, will be remembered for the roles he played in moving the party forward.
Tribune Online reports that the deceased was the military administrator of Benue and Kano States.
