(KWNO)- Senators Amy Klobuchar D-MN and Tina Smith D-MN, along with Gov. Tim Walz DFL, touted the American Rescue Law at a vaccination clinic yesterday.  
One provision struck from the $1.9 trillion packages was an increase of the minimum wage to $15 per hour. Sen Smith told KWNO last week she supports a $15 minimum wage. 
“A lot of people think that the minimum wage is sort of the wage that is paid for high school students who are working part time at an extra job,” said Smith. “Most minimum wage workers are adults and they’re women.”  ....
