Former US ambassador to Germany John Kornblum dies

The former US ambassador to Germany, John Kornblum, died on Thursday. He was 80. He died in Nashville in the Us state of Tennessee, dpa learned from a family friend on Friday. China hails 'good old friend' Henry Kissinger, who visited country over 100 times

Chinese officials and state media are mourning the death of Henry Kissinger, the American diplomat known for his pivotal role in the U.S.-China rapprochement in the early 1970s.
