PACT Commends Energy and Commerce Committee's Attention to Health Cost Challenge

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Health Subcommittee is holding a hearing titled, "Health Care Spending in the United States: Unsustainable for Patients, Employers, and Taxpayers." Protecting Americans’ Coverage Together (PACT), a coalition of employer voices dedicated to strengthening the employer sponsored insurance (ESI) system, has been highlighting the work that employers are doing to hold down costs for their workforces. House Hearing Focuses on Innovative Ways Employers Are Holding Down Health Costs, Keeping Workers Healthy

The hearing is titled, Lowering Costs and Increasing Access to Health Care with Employer-Driven Innovation, and will feature testimony from employers who are adapting and using tools to both hold down costs and promote a healthy workforce.
