ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2023) – William Letendre of Cornelius, N.C. and Naples, Fla., was awarded the 2023 John W. Dargavel Medal by the National Community Pharmacists Association Foundation as part of NCPA’s Annual Convention, which was held Oct. 14-17 in Orlando.
At the second General Session of the 2023 NCPA Annual Convention at the Orange County Convention Center, NCPA President Hugh Chancy took the stage to the chorus of Survivor's 1982 song "Eye of the Tiger" to welcome a packed hall. Chancy introduced Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), who received a standing ovation and an enthusiastic round of applause.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 2, 2022) – Jim Martin, a pharmacist licensed in both Georgia and Texas, received the National Community Pharmacists Association’s 2022 Calvin J. Anthony Lifetime Achievement Award as part of NCPA’s Annual Convention, which was held Oct. 1-4, in Kansas City, Mo.
