RIYADH: Saudi Arabia and the US are in talks to boost trade cooperation in the digital economy and innovation fields, Saudi Press Agency reported. The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha met with US Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves and briefed him regarding the steps taken by the Kingdom to support digital innovation and
He also met with the Director of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) Division for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG) Juwang Zhu.
Around 10,842 violators of residency and labor laws and border security regulations have been arrested in various regions of the Kingdom within a week. The arrests were made during joint field campaigns carried out by various units of security forces and the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) during the period from April 28 to May 4.
