Baker earns hosts 42nd medal

Amelie Baker brought a celebratory ending to Team Barbados’ participation at the 35th CARIFTA Aquatic Championships with a bronze medal performance in the Open Water five-kilometre race yesterday morning at Carlisle Bay. The Barbados Aquatic Sports Association’s Long Course National Championship concluded on Sunday night at the Aquatic Centre with 16-year-old Amelie Baker joining the list of qualified Carifta swimmers.
