In a year when teachers and education staff stepped up to continue teaching children, 14 Topeka Unified School District 501 employees are being recognized for going even further in their mission to provide safe and quality academic environments. USD 501 hosted its annual Distinguished Staff Awards presentation on Tuesday evening. Although the event had to be virtual for a second year in a row, superintendent Tiffany Anderson said the district remained excited to honor our award winners who help make Topeka such a special place for our families.
