They bought it for emergency housing (News, May 8). Unfortunately, it s in a prime location, being close to both quiet residences and the ostentatious lakefront development. Tourists and intensive emergency housing aren t a good mix, any more than intensive emergency housing and local residents are. The council must enforce its own District Plan obligations. ....
