MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa met with Pakistan s Federal Minister for Industries and Production Muhammad Hammad Azhar on 16 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties discussed the current status and promising areas of Belarus-Pakistan cooperation in industry. They also talked about the organization of the third meeting of the joint working group on industrial cooperation and preparations for the signing of the enhanced agreement on cooperation in industry, science, and technology. ....

LAHORE:Ambassador of Belarus in Pakistan Andrei Metelitsa along with Secretary and Consulate Officer visited University of Engineering and Technology (UET) on Thursday and had a meeting with Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Syed Mansoor Sarwar.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ambassador Andrei Metelitsa said that strong, productive and uninterrupted bilateral relations between Pakistan and Belarus could boost up the academic connections for progress. Prof Syed Mansoor Sarwar said that many students from various countries were enrolled at UET and added the university was developing linkages with national and international organisations. The Ambassador assured that the embassy would facilitate to develop progressive liaison between both countries for promotion of engineering education. ....

MINSK, 19 January (BelTA) - Belarusian Ambassador Andrei Metelitsa presented credentials to Pakistan President Arif Alvi, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission.
During the meeting after the ceremony, the parties discussed the political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation between the countries. “The parties stressed the need to strengthen cooperation in areas important for Belarus and Pakistan such as industry, agriculture and pharmaceuticals. Despite the pandemic-related restrictions, the countries still held joint events in science, technology, health and pharmaceuticals in 2020, the embassy said.
