This marks Amazon Home s second Hometown Hero project; last year Ciara and Russell Wilson honored a registered nurse in Seattle. Susanna, this year’s Amazon Hometown Hero. Amazon Home Susanna has been a teacher at Van Nuys High School for nearly a decade, and unfortunately, during the pandemic, she lost her godfather, two uncles, brother and mother over the course of six months. Even though she has been grieving the loss of her loved ones, Susanna still managed to be present at work, fully supporting her students and colleagues, as well as her two children as they handled remote learning. ....
