Amana Academy is an emerging network of metro-Atlanta public charter schools that prepare 800+ students to become 21st century changemakers. in the Fulton County Schools system. Amana Academy implements a STEM-themed EL Education approach to teaching and learning for students in grades KG to 8 (check out http://eleducation.org/). Established in 2005 and with a spectacularly diverse student body, Amana s flagship school is among the highest performing public schools in Georgia with an A-rating from the Governors Office of Student Achievement and Niche as well as a 9/10 rating on GreatSchools. The school is also one of only a handful of American public schools teaching Arabic as a second language (one of the six official UN languages). Amana plans to establish its second campus in Atlanta s Upper Westside in the fall of 2021.
