During the Corona pandemic, social egoisms became more obvious than they had been for a long time. Despite closed hotels, the politicians in Hamburg’s parliament were unable to provide single rooms for homeless people. Instead, they repeated the traditional phrase about the still free places in the winter emergency programs. But the fact that these offer no privacy whatsoever and that people are exposed to the control of the authorities is no longer a secret. To make matters worse, in the event of a corona infection, people who do not have a permanent residence still have to be quarantined for 2 weeks. 2 weeks locked up without delivery service and Netflix. Instead of finding a quick unbureaucratic solution, the decision makers just sit out the problem by discussing it until spring returns and now no one is talking about frostbitten people on Hamburg’s streets.

FRANKSTON Pines overcame the spirited resistance of fellow State 3 outfit Hampton East Brighton in a riveting FFA Cup tie on Saturday.
This was a contest from go to whoa and although the final whistle signalled a 2-0 win for Pines their opponents left no-one in doubt about their promotion credentials.
In just over 90 minutes a rivalry was born and Hampton East Brighton represents a clear threat to the lofty ambitions of the men from Monterey.
Had Pines not prevailed there would have been much discussion around the contest’s most controversial moment.
