Berejiklian said case numbers were “not where we would like them”, but the figures recorded on Friday reflected circumstances up to two weeks ago. The Premier said “difficult” decisions could be made to increase restrictions, and the settings in place were reviewed every day. “We will not hesitate to [introduce settings] even further . again, it will be based on the health advice,” she said, adding that additional measures would need to be “well targeted”.
