Haryana to increase Mucormycosis beds in all its medical colleges | Chandigarh News

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana health department is going to increase the number of beds in all government medical colleges of the state from 20 to 75 for the treatment of patients with Mucormycosis.
Health minister Anil Vij, while reviewing the Covid and Mucormycosis situation, said 522 patients were under treatment in various medical colleges of the state and medicines should be made available to these patients as per their requirement without any delay and that there should be no shortage of injections and other medicines required for the treatment.
The minister said for operating the eight PSA oxygen plants being installed, additional staff and officers should be put on duty for regular monitoring. ....
