So far tests around her home have come up negative. But she is fully aware of what this does to her property value. The value of these properties and they are nice homes but the value will go down. This unfolded last spring when workers repairing a damaged line started to dig up plastic debris and the ensuing epa investigation reveal that sometime before the houses were built 20 years ago someone buried several tons of car battery casings in this area.
