The Sunshine Beach colt Ahi Sunshine blew away his rivals in the opening race of the Tuesday (June 6) card at Woodbine Mohawk Park in the opening division of the opening leg for the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Series for pacing sophomore males.
The Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Semi-Finals for two-year-olds were held Thursday (September 22) evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park, each with a purse of $20,000.
A parade of freshman stars made its way to Woodbine Mohawk Park for OSS Grassroots action Monday evening, and there was a strong display of speed and skill in the quartet of divisions.
Woodbine Mohawk Park played host to five Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots events for two-year-old pacing colts and geldings on Thursday night (Aug. 18) and the team of trainer Gregg McNair and driver Doug McNair exited the card with the winner’s cheque from two of the five splits.
