Not large but widespread political protests in egypt in several years this is taking place in a number of cities it is a challenge to monitor the situation accurately because unfortunately there are a lot of fake videos that have also been circulating that is from 2013 protests that have been posted by people purporting to be protests today but as we try to work to verify the images it is clear that there are a number of protests taking place in a number of different provinces throughout egypt the size of the protests are still fairly small and a number of them are being dispersed but it still shows remarkable courage and while the numbers may not be very dramatic.
