Committee EVS/TC 80 Hydrogen Technologies was established at the Estonian Centre for Standardisation and Accreditation, with Professor Allan Niidu of Tallinn University of Technology as its chairman. A technical committee is a body of experts interested in participating in the development of standards in a specific field – in this case, hydrogen technology. The tasks of the committee include identifying needs for standardisation, drafting standards and keeping them up to date, and participating in international and European standardisation.
Although oil prices have fallen to pre-war levels, gas pricing at filling stations remain high. The primary causes are a weak euro and inadequate oil refining capacity.
