From caftans to home decor, the mother of two and co-founder of La Vie Style House is “obsessed with pattern on pattern, print on print, and color on color.” The Highland Park home she shares with her husband, Matt, and their two sons Ryder, 10, and Hudson, 9 is a blend of vintage pieces and new designers that McClain has discovered through her travels. The mix of old and new is evident in every room from the Allan Knight “Limelight” loungers covered in a vintage Chanel tweed to the caramel leather sofa from her husband’s childhood home. “I was a part of every single purchase and fabric selection,” she says. “I have a very specific aesthetic.” ....
